Sihai Soy Milk

We wanted a soy milk breakfast on our last day in Taipei, and this place really hit the spot. The freshly brewed soy milk was excellent, smooth and not overly sweet, and the dough fritters were freshly fried and crispy. The wait was a bit long and seating inside was quite tight, but takeaway is available, which worked well for us as we ate at a nearby park. This is a great option if you have kids, as they can run around while you enjoy your meal. We ordered a bit of everything from the menu and had a fantastic meal, all for just 400 TWD. Highlights for us were the salted soy milk and the clay oven roll with pork chop. The pork was nicely peppery and the roll was wonderfully flaky. We would definitely come back again. Helpful tip: there’s a public toilet down the escalator at the train station entrance if you need one afterward.

No frills Taiwanese traditional breakfast shop. Fresh soy bean milk, you can have it hot, warm, or cold. Their signature salty soybean milk with Chinese donuts also very good, it does take a little bit getting used though having a salty sbm. Their Xiao Long Bao also solid, tastes good & hearty, the skin is a little thicker than I’d like. Was able to get a table right away when we arrived at 8am .. there’s long line when we left around 9.

First time trying the salty soy milk and it’s actually better than I thought. Soup dumpling was ok, the though is a bit think but soft and yummy. Cheap and good quality. And don’t need to wait for long queue
